LEGAL AGREEMENT

Terms & Conditions

Effective Date: September 4, 2026 • Version 1.1

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing the PrintIn web platform, uploading documents to a shop queue, or utilizing the desktop operator print client, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you are a stationery shop owner, campus operator, or coordinator registering a store, you accept these terms on behalf of your establishment.

2. Acceptable Document Uploads

Users are solely responsible for the content of the files they upload to the PrintIn queue. You agree not to upload any material that:

  • Infringes on copyright, trademark, or intellectual property rights.
  • Contains malware, scripts, or embedded code designed to disrupt store printers, local clients, or cloud systems.
  • Violates local law, institutional regulations, campus guidelines, or academic honor codes.

3. Customer Print Pricing, Direct Counter Payments & UPI Quick-Pay

Prices displayed on customer storefronts (such as B&W vs color rates, duplex discounts, and paper sizes) are configured independently by local shop operators. PrintIn serves a diverse community of users—including students, working professionals, small businesses, and walk-in individuals—providing automated queue coordination without financial intermediation.

PrintIn takes 0% commission on physical customer print orders. All print job fees are paid by the customer directly to the shop operator at the physical counter (via cash or direct peer-to-peer UPI transfer).

⚡ Direct UPI Quick-Pay Disclaimer:

Where enabled by a store, customer digital tickets provide a direct UPI deep-link or QR code (upi://pay) opening the customer's installed UPI application to pay directly into the shop operator's self-configured Virtual Payment Address (VPA).

PrintIn is not a payment aggregator, payment gateway, custodian, or escrow agent under Reserve Bank of India (RBI) regulations. Funds never pass through PrintIn accounts. Operators are solely responsible for ensuring the accuracy of their registered UPI ID. PrintIn holds no liability for funds sent to misconfigured merchant VPAs, payment app routing errors, or counter settlement disputes.

4. 30-Day Free Trial & Operator Subscriptions

Newly registered print shops receive a 30-day free trial with access to all operator features, queue management, desktop auto-printing, and store customization without requiring credit card details upfront.

Following the 30-day trial, continued access to live incoming queues requires choosing a paid subscription plan. There are no automatic rollover charges or hidden cancellation penalties. Operator subscription fees paid to PrintIn are non-refundable as detailed in our Refund Policy.

5. Operator Responsibilities, Store Hours & Queue Pauses

Store coordinators agree to provide accurate store details during registration, including a valid contact phone/mobile number, operational hours, and landmark address. Operators are responsible for managing their counter hardware, ensuring toner/paper readiness, and honoring the custom rates displayed on their storefront.

Store Availability & Queue Pauses: Counter operators reserve the operational prerogative to temporarily pause incoming print orders or enforce daily operating schedules (e.g., for queue clearance, machine maintenance, paper restocking, or outside working hours). PrintIn makes no warranty that any given print counter will remain continuously operational, and assumes no liability for print delays impacting academic submissions, office deadlines, legal filings, or emergency document needs.

6. Disclaimer of Hardware Warranties

PrintIn is a cloud-based queue coordinator. We interface with physical counter printers via local client software. We make no guarantees regarding the physical uptime of local printer hardware, paper availability, toner levels, or mechanical jams. All hardware maintenance and output print quality remain the sole responsibility of the shop operator.

7. Intellectual Property & License Restrictions

The PrintIn platform, including its custom software architecture, web interfaces, branding, algorithms, database designs, and native desktop bridge implementations, are the proprietary intellectual property of TBA Solutions.

Users, store operators, and coordinators are granted a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the platform solely for lawful document printing and store queue operations.

Under this license, you agree not to:

  • Decompile, disassemble, reverse engineer, or attempt to extract source code from the PrintIn platform, backend APIs, or native desktop bridge agents.
  • Duplicate, clone, resell, sublicense, or distribute derivative versions of the PrintIn platform or its proprietary print dispatcher protocols.
  • Bypass, disable, or tamper with any license verification mechanisms, subscription tier checks, or rate limits.
  • Use automated scrapers or bots to harvest data or clone storefront layouts without prior written consent.

Third-party open-source libraries bundled within the client (such as React, Tauri, and document rendering engines) remain governed by their respective open-source licenses.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

In no event shall PrintIn Platform, its creators, or operators be liable for any accidental loss of queued documents, print delays during academic exams, professional deadlines, or peak hours, or hardware damages arising out of the use of the printer interface.

PrintIn is a service operated by TBA Solutions (founded by Tejas Nayak, Abhishek, and Bhushan, and currently operated by Tejas Nayak).

We reserve the right to refine or modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the platform constitutes agreement to the updated framework.
